  1. We “officially” moved in yesterday since it was an auspicious day: we set up the butsudan, enshrined the Sun Goddess in the kamidana, spread sand from Ise in the 4 corners of the house, and paid respects at the local (kinda creepy) shrine on the hill (which reminded me of Totoro)
