      1. Walked across a 1km bridge connecting the airport to the mainland to see this statue of Mancio Ito, Miguel Chijiwa, Juliao Nakaura and Martinao Hara. In 1582 these boys (Mancini was 12 at the time) travelled to the Vatican to meet the Pope! It was Japan’s first embassy to Europe
