  1. Just chillin' with the local stegadon (not a mammoth and not a mastadon... they don't have shaggy hair and their tusks go OUTWARD.) In 1971 stegadon bones were found on Iki.

      The stegadon statue is in front of the Koganemaru Ikuhisa Memorial Hall. Koganemaru is a famous sculptor from Iki. Here are a few of his pieces on display. (all are lifesize, except the Meiji emperor who is 2x)
