@camcavers Okinawa is much more tropical, since it is quite a bit further south. And it is much more developed as a tourist destination, since it has been the “Hawaii of Japan” for a long time. Also they have a nightlife there.Permalink On twitter.com

@camcavers I haven’t been to Okinawa in more than 20 years (we are planning to go within the next year, but you know … Corona) so my comparison is probably not the best. Where I really WANT to go next in terms of tropical islands in Japan is Amami-Oshima.Permalink On twitter.com
