    1. At the top of the mtn is Ondake Shrine 男嶽神社, a “man” shrine. There is a photo of a manly rock below. Since the shrine houses Sarutahiko there are lots of monkeys. (In the replies I will post a pic of a particularly “manly” monkey that is definitely NSFW)

    Ondake Shrine features about 400 monkey statues. One set of statues references the manliness of the mountain 🙈
