  1. The Heart Sutra is one of the key shared Buddhist teachings across all of North Asia. You see it lots of places in Japan. This book sounds like it may be more accessible than Kazuaki Tanahashi's, which is more for a scholarly audience (though I still enjoyed it). @BooksOnAsia/1323076897572442112
