  1. Chilly day here on #Ikijima #壱岐, only 15degs. But that means it is extra clear, so if you head up to the northern part of the island, from the old Katsumoto castle ruins, you can see Tsushima 53km away across the strait (on the left). Korea is another 100km beyond.

      The building is Katsumoto Elementary School. The island over my left shoulder is Wakamiyajjma, the whole of which is a Self Defense Forces base.
