@wesinjapan The northern tip of the island is where Hideyoshi built a castle as a staging point for Korea. Apparently they had brought a lot of Kyoto girls for entertainment, so Katsumoto-Ben has a lot of Kyoto-Ben in it. The shotengai is *very* Kyoto looking now to reinforce that heritage.
