  1. Woke up this morning to the emergency broadcast radio saying all the buses have been cancelled. Looked outside and ❄️ ❄️ ❄️ 5cm of snow! People were out of their houses making snowmen, kids screaming. Talked to the local pastry chef who said he’d never seen so much in 50yrs!

      Everyone is driving about 20km/hr. Just had another announcement saying the police are requiring snow tires and chains on the major roads… 🤷‍♂️ WHO HAS CHAINS ON IKI!?

        I took this photo exactly 1 year ago, on Jan 8 2020, when we first visited Iki. +22 Hard to imagine a year later I would have to shovel my walk! ❄️
