It is SUPER windy on Iki today. I am on the north side of the island on a school visit and stopped in at the convenience store/supermarket. You have to use the side door since their main doors are closed due to wind! 🌬Permalink On twitter.com

I am sure this is common for lots of coastal towns. I don’t ever recall seeing this kind of thing in Kyoto or Nagoya. TBH I was never really that bothered about the weather until I moved to a remote island. Weather here is serious business.On twitter.com
