  1. Beautiful view of Mt Yufu from our hotel. The landscape around here is amazing. Ancient volcanic activity created rolling hills, short grass grows everywhere, blown down by the winds.

      I wish I could have taken my camera into the onsen. From the outside bath it was the perfect view of the mountain. As the sun went down, the bright golden light receded up to the peak, before it was too cold and I had to go inside.
