  1. Very hot day, big drive to Vancouver to take a little break from all the craziness. Here are some choppers coming in to fight a small forest fire by the highway

      The MASSIVE smoke cloud over the fire near Kamloops, as seen from quite far away. Also some cooler mountain tops as we go over the pass and into Hope.

        We are in Hope now and for the first time standing outside the wind is cool and does not feel like a red dragon breathing on you.

            We asked the kids where they wanted to go for a short holiday. They said Hogwarts 🧙‍♂️ so I brought them to @UBC. We are staying on campus for the next few days and I will take them around to show them all sorts of cool stuff here (did I mention they are 11 and 9? 😅🐯)
