        1. Today’s @tryglass post: “Bragging Rights” Fishermen in #ikijima #壱岐 Katsumoto take part in annual competitions (who can catch the biggest/most/etc). Their prize are these flags, but they can only fly them on certain days. 🎏 1/4

        One very windy day while taking a friend on a boat tour of some outer islands, we were lucky to see many fishing boats flying their trophy flags. 🏆(We also saw about 30 navy sailors riding around on scooters, but that’s a different story). 🛵 2/4

      I snapped a bunch of pics to catch the flags at full extension. It probably would have been better to catch it from a different angle so all the kanji wasn’t backwards, but I couldn’t really walk out on the water to the other side of the boat! 3/4
